Liverpool linked with new left-back – but at 16-years-old he’s not a solution

Tick…, tock…, tick…, tock…

The transfer deadline is now just a week away, and we’re still no closer to bringing in either competition or cover for Alberto Moreno.

For all of Klopp’s words, it’s obvious he’s not entirely sold on Moreno at left-back or else James Milner would not have played there in our dismal loss to Burnley at the weekend.

Thankfully, we’ve now been linked with yet another full-back by the Daily Mail.

Unfortunately, the player in question is only 16-year-old.

The paper reports we are keen on Fulham’s young starlet Ryan Sessegnon – but United, Arsenal and Spurs are also keen.

“Ryan’s at a great club to learn his trade and progress,” said Fulham boss McDonald.

“The experience he’s getting in games and training with the players every day is good for him.

“I’m sure he will continue kicking on. He has everything in his locker to be a top player and it’s up to him how he does it.”

Surely this isn’t the player we’ve all been waiting for? Who would you sign? Let us know…
