Dismal weekend of action for Liverpool’s on-loan stars

Posted by

We’ve got an incredible number of players out on loan this season, but it was a miserable weekend of action for the vast majority of them.

Lloyd Jones was the notable exception – he helped Swindon keep a clean sheet as they beat Oldham 2-0.

Lazar Markovic only played the final 20 minutes Sporting won 4-2, Allan was an unused sub in the Bundesliga, and striker Taiwo Awoniyi saw his NEC side draw 0-0.

Danny Ward saw his side knocked out of first place in the championship as they lost 1-0 to Reading in a game which they ended with 10 men.
