Reds hit with another injury – important centre-back pulls out of international squad

Posted by

Dejan Lovren will become the third Liverpool player to rule himself out of international duty after injuries sustained against Swansea City in our 2-1 win on Saturday lunchtime.

Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne have already dropped out with groin and knee injuries respectively.

The Serbian will not be available for his country a groin issue towards the end of the match (Echo). The squad is due to be named tomorrow.

Lovren was not at the Euros after a falling out with his boss, but is now flavour of the month again in his homeland.

Do you think these injuries are “real” or are the player choosing to drop out and spend more time training? Ferguson often used to do them same think ahead of international games, especially with the games are against weaker opposition.
