Klopp has flown Liverpool’s entire first-team squad to Barcelona, day after Bournemouth loss

Less than 24 hours after Liverpool’s agonising defeat to Bournemouth on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp and the squad touched down in Barcelona, where they’ll do some warm weather training over the next few days.

We don’t face West Ham until next Sunday, so we’ll have time to lick our wounds and prepare ourselves for the visit of Slaven Bilic’s struggling men.

The Express released pictures of the team landing this morning.

Before this weekend, we’d gone 15 matches unbeaten in all competitions, putting in a number of brilliant displays since the unfortunate away defeat to Burnley in the second game of the season.

The defeat hurts, but hopefully the trip to Spain will help the players put it to the back of their heads and achieve a positive mindset before our next fixture.

With Chelsea winning impressively at Manchester City, we really need three points against the Irons to maintain pace with the leaders. Hopefully, we’ll have Joel Matip back in the side to shore up the defence.
