Wow..
This is starting to get way out of hand, and is only going to get do more damage to Loris Karius’s confidence and Liverpool’s performances.
Jamie Carragher went in harshly on the young German following the game yesterday, telling the keeper to ‘Shut up and get on with his job’, insinuating that by letting in goals every week, he had no right to comment on his punditry.
Karius had a stinker yesterday again, with his mistakes allowing West Ham a point at Anfield, when after 15 minutes, it looked as if we’d run riot. Gary and Phil neville also got involved, but Didi Hamann has leapt to the defence of his countryman and criticised the United brothers and Carra, a former Liverpool team-mate of many seasons.
Where do you stand, Reds?
Should the pundits lay off the struggling 23-year-old, or are they simply doing their job – something Karius isn’t doing to an acceptable level?
That's the most laughable thing I've read in a long time. Disrespectful to say the least https://t.co/eYjYfhg9kU

Carra is out of order too. Karius is 23 years old and played over 100 top flight games. Outrageous comments, deserves a little more respect https://t.co/DV7Wn2Ldt2

You can criticise as much as you want but you don't tell an adult to shut up. Poor form https://t.co/gmaaoeqkl1

To confound matters, Hamann retweeted this – telling Neville and Carra to get off their high horses.
Totally agree with @DietmarHamann on karius.. @Carra23 & @GNev2 need to get off their high horses and pipe down .. give the lad a break
