A transfer to Liverpool is a dream come true for most players as it is but Jurgen Klopp has insisted on elevating a move to Merseyside even more.
The German has hailed the opportunity the club gives young prospects to perfect their trade and grow as players in a way that will set them up for a promising future.
He told Liverpoolfc.com: “I have rose tinted glasses but I would say it is the best place for a player to develop.”
“I would say at the moment that LFC is a really good place to be for a player to develop, to get the best out of your career and all that stuff. That is how we live.”
“I said a few months ago, the biggest teams in the world they didn’t change a lot, they developed together, then bring him in and that in and so on and improve a little bit and then in the end you have a wonderful team.”
Klopp’s arrival as manager immediately marked the introduction of a main reason as to why Liverpool is such a great place for players to develop.
He regularly demonstrates his faith in the youth stars as well as playing a key role in helping more experienced foreign players polish their game and adapt to the Premier League.
In a environment that revolves heavily around teamwork and team spirit, there remains to be plenty of time for individual man management which has evidently been vital in helping youngsters improve.
For many, no second invitation to join the Reds would be required.
