Liverpool transfer target drops hint regarding his immediate future

It seems that we can all but rule out Liverpool signing Christian Pulisic in the upcoming January transfer window with the Borussia Dortmund man apparently more than content with where he is at.

The 18-year-old has been rumoured as a main transfer target for Jurgen Klopp and also Liverpool’s American owners, who appear to be keen on signing an upcoming star to represent the United States in the Premier League.

Speaking to the Daily Mail in a Facebook Live chat, Pulisic said: “I think with soccer, you never really know what’s going to happen in your career — that’s the beauty of it.”

“But right now, I’m with Dortmund and very happy. I’m earning my spot and working hard for that team.”

The last few months have seen Pulisic identified as a possible candidate to replace Sadio Mane in the New Year when the Senegalese forward departs for the African Cup of Nations.

His apparent commitment to Dortmund perhaps explains why Liverpool are reportedly preparing a bid for Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Klopp’s wish for another winger is clear and if Pulisic doesn’t arrive in January we still feel there is a chance we could see him on Merseyside in the summer.

Certainly one to keep an eye on.
