We’re not sure if this is your thing (it isn’t ours), but plenty of Liverpool fans are into FIFA and will be pleased to see Liverpool’s best players have all had a ratings boost in the latest winter upgrade.
Sadio Mane got the biggest increase, going from a very underrated 79 to 82. We can only see that continuing to grow in upcoming instalments as he should really be on about 85.
Captain Jordan Henderson increased from 80 to 82, as reward for his excellent form all season – in which he’s made more passes than any player in the top flight.
Adam Lallana, our excellent Englishman has gone from 82 to 83, having bagged seven goals and registered seven assists in the Premier League so far.
Joel Matip has also gone from 82 to 83, as has Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino. Those increases make Matip our highest rated defender and Firmino ahead of Daniel Sturridge (82) up top.
Finally, Coutinho has been made an 86, one up from 85, which puts him in line with the best playmakers in Europe.
