Liverpool will take part in this summer’s Audi Cup, held at Bayern Munich’s wonderful Allianz Arena on August 1 and 2 before the beginning of next season.
The news was announced today by a bizarre hologram conference, with our manager, Carlo Ancelotti and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone projected into an imaginary newsroom Stars Wars style!

As well as the two European giants, one other behemoth (currently unknown) will make up the foursome, which will be a good test of where we are before 2017/18 gets underway.
You’ll remember at the beginning of this campaign we thrashed Barcelona at Wembley, which set the tone for a brilliant Premier League win over Arsenal.
