Liverpool fans have been quick to congratulate youngster Trent Alexander-Arnold on seeing his impressive 2016/2017 campaign rewarded with a new five-year deal.
The 18-year-old committed his future to the Reds on Friday, signing his second contract extension in eight months.
Supporters have hailed the club for tying down the teenager until 2022 with many expecting Alexander-Arnold to begin challenging for a first team spot as soon as next season.
A eye-opening rise through the youth setup earned him 12 first team appearances last season, including a start in Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
