Liverpool want to sign brilliant Bayern Munich midfielder – permanently

For Liverpool, Renato Sanches has emerged as a genuine alternative for Naby Keita, reports sportBILD.

Bayern’s super-talented midfielder is available after spending much time on Carlo Ancelotti’s bench last term, largely due to the absolute wealth of talent the Italian has in central areas. This summer, Corentin Tolisso and Sebastien Rudy have been added to the already brilliant roster of Arturo Vidal, Thiago, Josh Kimmich and Javi Martinez – so the Germans feel a loan spell for the 19-year-old could be beneficial to all.

However, sportBILD reckon that Jurgen Klopp, who has finally accepted that Red Bull Leipzig won’t part with Keita for any money, will only want Sanches permanently.

For us though, even a loan move would make perfect sense. Klopp would have the box-to-box midfielder he requires, meaning we can either bid properly for the youngster next summer depending on his progress – or pay Keita’s release clause – which becomes active at the end of the season.

Chelsea however, are also interested, despite Antonio Conte bringing in Tiemoue Bakoyoko already this summer. AC Milan are also keen, so acquiring Sanches is not going to be easy – that’s if our plans to acquire him are genuine.
