Angry Liverpool send Barcelona a frank demand

Liverpool have ‘demanded’ that Barcelona do not contact us again before the end of the transfer window in regards to Coutinho.

However, the Catalans are expected to ignore this and come in with a fourth bid for our Brazilian no.10 before September.

The Mirror claims Liverpool are ‘angry’ with the Spaniards for submitting yesterday’s £118m offer, despite our consistently blunt claims that he’s not for sale at any price.

Coutinho wants to leave and has told Jurgen Klopp he doesn’t want to play for Liverpool again, sadly, but the club’s plan is to reintegrate him into the side once the transfer window closes.

Barcelona have obviously been contacting Coutinho illegally throughout the summer; and we don’t understand how they’re allowed to do it but our attempt to buy Virgil van Dijk was scrutinised for the same reasons.

Barca truly believe they can sign anyone they want at the drop of a hat, but we’re delighted FSG are holding out and sticking to their word.

At the end of the day, Coutinho loved Liverpool last season, has the Champions League to (hopefully) look forward to and a World Cup at the end of the campaign.

It could be worse for our no.10.
