Liverpool have no intention of punishing Coutinho or asking him to apologise for his poorly timed transfer request, reports the Times.

Jurgen Klopp is now planning on reintegrating the Brazilian into his squad, although Coutinho won’t feature tonight or at the weekend as he’s picked up a virus following his sore back.

(Hmmmm…..)

Barcelona have had three bids rejected and although they’re lining up a monstrous £138m offer, Liverpool are going to turn it down as quickly as we rebuffed the others.

FSG have been unequivocal in their stance that Liverpool’s no.10 is not for sale at any price, although Barcelona are disrespectfully ignoring our very firm instructions.

In fact, they’ve damaged the relationship between the two clubs hugely, arrogantly assuming we’d just let them have our best player again.

It’s not going to happen, in short, regardless what they come at us with before September.

Coutinho has not behaved impeccably, but he’ll be forgiven by an adoring fanbase who never wanted him to leave in the first place.
