Why are we not surprised…?
Despite clearly kicking Brighton player Gaetan Bong at the weekend, Romelu Lukaku has been cleared of any wrongdoing and will not face a ban – BBC Sport confirm.
During United’s scrappy victory over the newly promoted side, Lukaku blatantly kicked out at his opponent on two occasions, but despite the referee not seeing it, an FA panel has deemed the Belgian’s crimes not sufficient of a ban.
Naturally, Liverpool fans took to the internet in droves to complain about the decision, especially considering they wouldn’t overturn Sadio Mane’s red-card from earlier this season.
Again, it’s one rule for United and one rule for everyone else.

Pretty sure a Man United player could stone-cold stunner the referee, and get away with; oh well, boys will be boys.

Shock. Horror. Imagine Suarez doing that – he'd have got a 5 year stint in Broadmoor. https://t.co/W5bZogW8zo

This is what happens when you have FA board members that also sit on manure board too it's a disgrace and should be taken to court, cos of it was a current Liverpool player I bet that be a ban and some fines etc… Not on 😡

BREAKING NEWS: Romelu Lukaku will face NO ACTION for kicking another player, because he plays for Man Utd and Jose Mourinho would prefer if he didn't.

This was a deliberate act of violence. In comparison Mane was attempting to flick a 50/50 ball over an advancing goalkeeper. Maybe the FA should bring in a rule where no Utd player is allowed to be tackled. They may as well.
