Marko Grujic: extremely talented, but extremely raw!
His performance for Cardiff last night proved as much, as well…
Neil Warnock’s men actually beat Brentford City 3-1, with the Serbian eventually putting in a tremendous performance.
But in the opening seconds, he tried a roulette in midfield and gave away a goal!
Jurgen Klopp would have lost the plot if the young Serbian did this for Liverpool, so we’re glad he got the mistake out of the way in a blue shirt instead.
However, following this error, Grujic impressed, as he has done in most games since his arrival on loan in January.
Hopefully he can return to Liverpool and enjoy a good pre-season, as he undoubtedly has the ability to one day start in our midfield.
Some midweek Championship fixtures meant that #LFC loanees, Harry Wilson and Marko Grujic were in action.
Cardiff and Hull both won their games. Harry Wilson even getting on the scoresheet for the Tigers.
Grujic was responsible for Brentford’s only goal but otherwise, solid.

Grujic and Wilson show the Champ is better place to learn than bottom half PL team. Champ matches are always competitive – both teams want to win. Over half of matches involving bottom half PL teams are scrappy, ‘mustn’t lose’ affairs. Bad place for technical footballers.
