Jordan Henderson is a class act, on and off the field.
He put in his best ever performance in a red shirt at Anfield last week against AS Roma, and tonight, was brave once again – leading his side out in a hectic atmosphere.
Liverpool won 7-6 on aggregate, but in truth, it was far more comfortable than that, having taken a 5-0 lead in the first leg last time out!

That game though was marred by an incident before kick-off where Reds supporter Sean Cox was viciously assaulted by Roma fans and is still in hospital in a critical condition as a result.
Upon full-time, Jordan Henderson told a steward to retrieve a banner supporting Cox from the stands – and he held it proudly with his team.
We’re going to Kiev, Reds.
Unbelievable.
There’s 24 days to go until the final and we’re feeling the nerves already.
Every single player deserves enormous credit for getting this far.
Bring it on.

Henderson has been a beast since returning from injury, and he's always been a class act wearing that armband. Grabbing that Sean Cox banner just shows what he's all about
