Even Lyon fans think Jean-Michel Aulas is lying…
Dave Maddock, who can very much be trusted, claims that Lyon are protecting themselves as a PLC – as it is their duty – and nobody else’s – to alert stock market to any major business.
As of yet, pen hasn’t been put to paper, so their denial is in regards to this only.
Lyon obliged as publicly listed company to ensure no false information is disseminated until contracts are signed, especially relating to potential fees. Their denial of "false information" relates to wild suggestions of price in French media, and fact deal is not yet completed

Similarly, Andy Hunter in the Guardian says a deal will still happen, most likely today.
According to RMC Sport journalist Saber Defsa, Fekir actually did his medical last night – meaning we hope it’s just a matter of time before Ts are crossed and Is are dotted.
Spoke to @SaberDesfa of @RMCsport who informed me that Fékir had his medical last night ahead of a move to Liverpool. Saber is not aware of the results as of yet.

For now, we wait patiently…
We were hoping to wake up and see Fekir in Liverpool red, but instead, we’re facing another anxious wait!
France play another friendly tomorrow, at 8pm, so realistically, we need confirmation by tomorrow morning at the latest.
