Twitter’s gone off on again, Reds…
Oliver Bond, who in fairness has made some great shouts this year, last night tweeted a cryptic message indicating that Michael Edwards has done some more fantastic business – before hundreds of other Liverpool ‘ITKs’ followed suit.

There’s also been suggestions from many that Edwards has renegotiated a deal for Nabil Fekir for a cut-price, although we honestly have heard nothing and consider this nothing more than baseless speculation!
More likely, Bond is referring to Liverpool making a killing from selling Divock Origi or another player who’s surplus to our requirements – but again – we have no idea.
Here’s the original tweet and some of the ones that followed, anyway…

All these Edwards hints and whatnot have given me a theory that we offered Lyon a really low package for Fekir (£35m or so) with a bunch of add-ons based on playing time.
Aulas held out hoping another bidder came in, they didn’t, Fekir demands to leave so Aulas accepts our bid.

Liverpool’s sporting director has already secured deals for Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, Alisson and Xherdan Shaqiri in 2018 – having bought Naby Keita on a future transfer last summer.
Many were worried he wasn’t up to the job when he first got the role, but they’ve been proved spectacularly wrong.
We hope he’s got one more surprise for us!
