James Milner was incredible yesterday, but so was Liverpool’s other roaming no.8 Naby Keita.
Milner played to the left of Gini Wijnaldum, who held the midfield with aplomb, with Keita on the right.
Both provided energy, end product and intelligent link-up play – and the captain on the day has showered his new team-mate with praise.
@DaveOCKop shared the quote on Twitter:
Milner on Keita: "He's a good player, he's only gonna get better. I can only imagine how good he'll be in a few months time. I've seen him get out of some ridiculous situations at training."

Keita’s debut excited just about everyone associated with Liverpool enormously. In truth, we already knew he was a very good player, but for him to hit the ground running in the manner he did was extraordinary.
We already have players with immense end-product, but few who can link our defence and attack quite like Keita can.
If you were to build a robot-midfielder with all the traits to suit Jurgen Klopp’s tactical set-up, Keita wouldn’t be far off. He’s got it all. And is going to have some season!
