That’s because both Fabinho and Alisson have taken to social media to celebrate – with the goalkeeper declaring this seven ‘the champions’, which also included Gini Wijnaldum, Nathaniel Clyne, Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez and Dom Solanke.

It’s no surprise that the side with three Brazilians won, especially considering the technical ability of Gini and Gomez alongside them!
Alisson has been a revelation since joining, yet to concede a goal and making a match-winning save against Brighton last time out. Firmino has started the campaign slowly, but still has two assists to his name and looked sharper last time out. Fabinho’s yet to make an appearance, still developing his tactical understanding of our style on the training ground.
All three though have been called up to Tite’s El Selecao squad for the fixtures with USA and El Salvador at the beginning of September.
Annoyingly, there’s only three days between a game with the latter and Liverpool’s fixture with Spurs on the 15th, so we imagine the club will once again hire a private jet to get the stars back pronto.
