Sadio Mane has once again proven what a class act he is off the pitch as well as on it.

The Liverpool star has further enhanced his reputation as a model professional by helping clean the toilets and wudhu area of his local mosque.

This followed the Reds’ 2-1 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, in which Mane had opened the scoring on the way towards his side extending their winning start to the Premier League season.

Mane’s latest gesture arrives just months after he sent 300 Liverpool shirts to fans in his home town of Bambali in Senegal prior to May’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Mane has been Liverpool’s standout attacking threat over the opening weeks of the new campaign, registering four goals in as many games.

The Senegalese forward has been able to translate a superb individual finish to 2017/2018 into an instrumental role amid Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah’s own efforts to gradually rediscover their top form.

His consistency since his arrival at the club in 2016 has put him towards the top of the list of those in line for a lucrative contract extension, with Salah and Firmino having already penned new deals on Merseyside.

Liverpool’s no.10 is already on course to challenge his career-high 20-goal tally last season, which entailed key contributions on both the domestic and European stages.
