Rhian Brewster is on the road to recovery still.
The youngster signed a new contract in the summer after being promised genuine chances in the first-team by Jurgen Klopp, but his ankle ligament injury means his debut is some time off.

For now, Brewster is still working hard at Melwood so that he can soon start joining in training sessions with his older team-mates.
To prove how much he’s wanted at the club, Liverpool gave Brewster a spot in the official first-team squad for this season, as well as a new squad number – and the teenager has explained his choice.
“I asked to change my number and they gave me the options of which numbers I could have,” he told the official website. “I wanted 26, to be honest, because that means something to me, but Robbo already has that shirt so I went for 24 because it was one of the closest numbers available to it that I liked.”
Before his injury, Brewster was tearing up trees for our U23 side and had won the U17 World Cup with England in 2017, which really put his name on the map, especially as he ended the tournament as top scorer.
Of all players in our Academy right now, it’s Brewster and Curtis Jones who excite us most.
Both have tenacity and a braveness on the ball and a swagger on the pitch.
