James Milner has recovered from the hamstring injury he picked up against Manchester City in just ten days and could be available to face Huddersfield at the weekend!
That’s according to respected correspondent Dave Maddock, who writes the news in the Mirror.
When Milner limped off the pitch against our title rivals before the international break, it was originally thought that he’d miss a month of football and be back some time in November.
So for a 32-year-old to be ready so quickly is crazy, but this is Milner we’re talking about…
The Englishman is the fittest player in our squad and looks after his body better than any player we can ever remember.
Maddock also suggests Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk will be available, despite being sent home from duty with Egypt and Holland respectively.
Both starters should be in full training before the end of the week and make the trip to Huddersfield, where we’ll face David Wagner’s relegation battlers.
