Fabinho enjoyed a superb first-half for Liverpool today, making tackles and interceptions galore.
The Brazilian started in midfield alongside Gini Wijnaldum in a 4-2-3-1 in a formation that clearly suits him.
He played in a midfield two at AS Monaco, remember, and looked completely comfortable at Anfield early on.
If he can maintain this kind of level, he’ll be an automatic starter in our strongest XI, frankly.
The exciting thing is, there’s definitely more to come. When Naby Keita gets himself into the team alongside the 24-year-old, we’ll be laughing.
