Jose Mourinho reacted to his side losing 3-1 at Anfield in exactly the way you might expect – by losing the plot.
He went on a tirade against his own team and also praised the Reds to the hilt.
Mourinho had watched on as his side struggled with the intensity; United’s players simply could not cope with the harrying and harassing that those in red inflicted on them. There was a clear gulf between the sides.

Not only did he have a go at his own side for not being good enough, he picked out Andy Robertson for his exceptional desire.
