Robbo ranks Liverpool leaders… (And says he’s ‘bored’ of Van Dijk’s brilliance)

Liverpool’s squad is unified, full of world-class talent and characters who are undeniably winners.

Andy Robertson has been discussing this following the Friday and Saturday fixtures which saw Liverpool go four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

We beat Wolves and Manchester City lost to Crystal Palace, while Chelsea lost at home as well.

Robbo thinks the leaders Liverpool have at our disposal has aided our jaw-dropping start to the campaign.

“Virgil Van Dijk is captain of his country. We have a fantastic captain in Jordan Henderson who clocked up 300 appearances for the club against Wolves – and that’s a great achievement,” the Scot told the Mirror.

“We’ve got James Miner as well, who is a fantastic professional. There are plenty of leaders on the park – I’m including Dejan Lovren in that, as well.

“And the more leaders we have got out there, the better, as far as I’m concerned.”

“I’m getting bored talking about how good he is… I’m only joking,” Robbo added, when pushed about van Dijk’s form.

Robertson has been incredible recently himself, of course. One slight error against Wolves was very much out of character, but thankfully it didn’t result in a goal conceded.

He’s easily been the best left-back in the country this term and we wouldn’t swap him for any player in Europe in his position.

Robbo is slight in stature but huge in character, energy, courage and work-rate.

Not to mention his sensational left-foot and his sheer consistency of performance.

We can see Robbo starting as our left-back for the next five years at least.
