(Video) Grujic scores super goal after starting move in his own half

Marko Grujic notched his second goal of the Bundesliga campaign last night in a 2-2 draw at home to Schalke.

The Serbian started in midfield and made the score 1-1 in the first-half after a stupendous counter-attack.

Grujic got the ball in his own half, beat an opponent and set a team-mate on his way, before joining in with the attack, getting beyond the defence and casually slipping home.

The 22-year-old is spending the campaign on loan in Germany and has recently earned rave reviews from his temporary manager Pal Dardai, who described him as ‘top shelf’ and intimated that Grujic is the most talented footballer he’s ever worked with.

We hope Grujic continues to impress in the Bundesliga and just as importantly, remains free of injury.

Fitness issues have curtailed his progress since he arrived in England back in 2016 – and it’s crucial he gets consistent minutes somewhere if we’re to see if he’s truly capable of eventually forging an Anfield career.
