Yesterday, Liverpool announced that youngster Paul Glatzel had signed a new long-term deal at the club in the form of his first professional contract.
It was on the teenager’s 18th birthday and we can’t think of many better presents than that!
Glatzel has scored 23 goals in total for the youth teams this season, having recently been promoted from the U18s to the U23s – and LFCTV have shared a compilation of some of his best ones.
As you can see, he can hit the ball with venom with both his right and left, although he’s more naturally comfortable with his left.
Glatzel is a scouser with German parents and has duel nationality. We hope he keeps working hard and then maybe we’ll see him given some minutes in the pre-season friendlies.
