LFC fans love Hendo’s England ‘sh*thousery’ after Savic explains what midfielder said during scuffle

This is pathetic from Stefan Savic, it really is.

Anyone who’s played football at even a Sunday League level knows that the odd bit of rubbish gets said on the pitch between players in the heat of the moment – but then it’s left on the field at 90 minutes and handshakes are exchanged.

But the former Manchester City defender has publicly discussed his scuffle with Jordan Henderson, which occurred at the very end of England’s 5-1 hammering of Montenegro on Monday night.

He claims Hendo disrespected his team-mates by sarcastically offering a player his jersey after the match – but Savic has missed the point.

Hendo’s shirt was being pulled, so he told the Montenegro player if he wanted it that badly, he could just have it after the game.

It’s trivial, and actually quite funny. Savic needs to get off his high horse and realise his team got battered.

If he wants to come out and condemn anything, perhaps it should be Montenegro’s racist fans.

Liverpool fans agree wholeheartedly, we’re glad to report.
