Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are the only Reds who’ve been selected by Gareth Southgate for England’s Nations League Finals.
England face Netherlands tomorrow in the semis, and then the possibility of Portugal or Switzerland in the final.
The Champions League winning duo have joined up with the rest of the squad following the celebrations after Madrid and parade in Liverpool.
They both had massive smiles on their faces when greeting the likes of Ben Chilwell, but had to be respectful and sombre when meeting Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Eric Dier – which was suitably awkward!
Kane, who was awful on the night, looked especially uncomfortable – but in fairness – we’d hope Liverpool players appeared the same if we’d have been beaten.
We just hope Trent and Hendo get through England’s matches unscathed and then enjoy a long, relaxing holiday before pre-season starts!
