Rhian Brewster could be a potential bargain for Fantasy Premier League managers this upcoming campaign having had a fantastic pre-season so far.
With Sadio Mane set to miss the start of the season having still not returned following his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations, Brewster could be handed the chance to impress.
Even coming off the bench, he’ll be a useful option and he’s proven already that he can score goals with four this pre-season so far. He’s also got one assist.
Available to select for £4.5 million, Brewster could be a bargain purchase. According to the Premier League’s official site, only 0.1% of players have chosen him so far, so it could be somewhere to get an edge on opponents, a crucial tactic for those who are successful at the game.
The only issue is that Brewster would take up one of the allocated slots, with each FPL squad only allowed three players per Premier League team at any one time.
Could it be worth the gamble of selecting him ahead of another Reds man for the first few weeks at least? Quite possibly.
