The Reds were much better in the second half than the first, and deservedly pulled level in the game after a tough 45 minutes.
After a tough opening period, Jurgen Klopp brought on Roberto Firmino and everything changed.
Mane equalised after the Reds went 1-0 down to Olivier Giroud, but at full-time it was 1-1.
Into extra-time, and just when Sadio Mane was looking jaded, he pulled a brilliant finish out of the bag to put the Reds into the lead.
Mane has done it for liverpool again, that celebration is world class, the goal is from another planet. Chelsea and lampard going home with nothing, lets wait and see. pic.twitter.com/fGqvBpSK8w

A dodgy penalty put Chelsea level again shortly afterwards, but this was a superb effort from Mane. The Reds must go again in the match – otherwise we’re heading to penalties.
The trophy is still on the line at the time of writing – though the Reds have given everything to retake the lead. Firmino and Mane, in particular, have been superb in the second half.
