Liverpool fans were given the impression that Rhian Brewster would be more involved with the first-team than he has been so far this season…
After all, we didn’t buy a new forward during the summer after hearing of his extremely high potential and the manner in which Jurgen Klopp rates him – but have yet to see him on the first-team bench.
His goal for the U23s last night though might help his chances of selection in the coming weeks.
Neil Critchley’s side won 4-2 and Brewster gave them the lead with a left-footed effort after good work from Curtis Jones.
More of the same very much needed.
12: Goal for #LFC…
