How can one player look so breathtaking for the final ten minutes of matches, but so often not that bothered for the first 80?!
Divock Origi etched his name further into Liverpool folklore last night with a scissor kick equaliser to make it 5-5 v Arsenal in the final seconds before notching his penalty in the shootout.
The Belgian had also scored earlier in the game, meaning he’s now been the pivotal player in games versus Everton, Newcastle, Barcelona, Spurs and Arsenal in the past year, when very rarely starting matches.
Liverpool fans adore Origi; not because he’s the world’s best striker, but because of the moments he continually arrives for!
He’ll be back on the bench for the Aston Villa game on Saturday – and have no doubts about it – should we need a late goal, Jurgen Klopp will bring him on.
It’s quite nice having the best impact player on the planet as an option, to be fair!

Don’t think I’ll ever have a relationship in my life that will confuse me more than the one I have with Divock Origi.

Love the lad by me on The Kop there who sloped off at 4-5 and reappeared at 5-5.
“Who scored, lad?”
“Origi, mate.”
“What was the goal like?”
“Scissor kick, mate!”
“Oh fuck off!!!” 😂

Everton. Barcelona. Newcastle. Spurs. And tonight.
Is there a more clutch player in football than Divock Origi? pic.twitter.com/GRySwGZJbm

Origi is a bit of a freak when it comes to big goals isn't he. It's a bit weird. If he was as good between minutes 0-80 as minutes 80-95, he'd be one of the best on the planet!

Big respect for Origi only scoring in games that will be talked about forever
