Summer signing XI – how we could line up with Firmino, Milner, Clyne, and co

CM) Jordan Henderson

Potentially our future long-term captain, Henderson has come on leaps and bounds in recent seasons.

With the new signings we’ve made he will be competing with the likes of James Milner and Emre Can for a regular starting spot, with Joe Allen also no doubt hoping to secure more playing time.

CM) James Milner

The former Manchester City man’s versatility could be massive next season, and it’s unclear as of yet which position he’ll be used in primarily.

He is keen to play more centrally, and his industriousness could see him become a huge success in midfield.

CAM) Roberto Firmino

Unquestionably our best signing of the window so far, the Brazilian is another player who can play in a variety of positions.

He is deployed up front for the international side, but was utilised as more of a No.10 in the Bundesliga. He could form a deadly partnership with his compatriot Coutinho, and whether used as a striker or an attacking midfielder he is sure to get us goals.
