It’s not often very fun watching England for a Liverpool fan, with most of us spending the majority of international matches wincing every time one of our players gets tackled.
But you couldn’t help but enjoy last night’s comeback victory over Germany, with Roy Hodgson’s side winning 3-2 despite conceding the first two goals.
The pick of them was Jamie Vardy’s wonderful finish, after our very own Nathaniel Clyne had bombed down the right and put in a perfect cross for the Leicester City forward.
Jordan Henderson registered the other two assists, while Emre Can played for the World Cup holders and did well at right-back.
Importantly though, everyone came through unscathed, although the England win will automatically pile heaps of unneeded pressure on the squad ahead of the Euros!
