Harry Wilson, still Wales’ youngest ever international after winning a cap just after his 16th birthday, scored a beautiful left-footed effort against Chelsea last night for the Under-23s, but the skipper couldn’t help us falling to a 4-1 defeat.
We lost to Southampton by the same scoreline a week previous, confirming a pretty miserable start to life in the Under-23 league.

Wilson though has scored five goals in his past seven games, although there’s yet to be an indication that Jurgen Klopp will consider him for first-team duties. The winger is lightweight and struggled on loan down the leagues last term.
Still, this goal is a peach – and should be enjoyed by all.
