Liverpool are looking to finalise sales or loans of at least five players today: Luis Alberto, Lazar Markovic, Mario Balotelli, Andre Wisdom and Mamadou Sakho.
And the former, our unwanted Spanish playmaker, has completed his medical at Lazio with a move expected to be announced soon.
Below you can see the 23-year-old at Rome’s biggest private hospital Clinica Paideia, and we’re judging by his thumbs up that all went smoothly (although someone probably needs to tell his face to look a little more pleased!).

Alberto arrived at Liverpool in 2013 but couldn’t force his way into the side during our 2013/14 title pursuit and has spent the past two campaigns on loan in Spain – to a fair amount of success.
The deal will be a permanent one, with ESPN confirming yesterday that a fee had been agreed between the clubs for around €5m – a tidy return on somebody who’d become completely surplus to Anfield requirements.
