The news us Liverpool fans have been desperately waiting for – an explanation of Roberto Firmino’s top knot haircut!
The Brazilian’s hair has been the only thing most people have been able to criticise him for this season, although perhaps he should stick with it while he is in fact playing so well for us.
We certainly don’t want him to suffer from the same kind of downfall Fernando Torres experienced after having his locks chopped off…
Firmino took to Instagram to explain that his look is in tribute to successful Brazilian singer, Wesley Safadao.
The forward’s goal for Brazil in Thursday night’s 5-0 win over Bolivia was even greeted by chants of ‘Go Safadao’ by the crowd.
It is fair to say that it is a look that has divided opinion, but we still love him no matter what.
Let’s hope Bobby can continue his sparkling form against Manchester United next Monday while sporting the top knot that we are all now so familiar with.
