Simon Mignolet is having a tough time of it at the moment. He has been forced to sit on the bench for the last four games as Klopp gives summer signing Loris Karius an extended run in the first team.
Many keepers would have silently sulked off, knowing that their Liverpool career could well be over.
But not the Belgian; he is committed to reclaiming the number one shirt, as this recent Twitter post reveals.
His post show several videos of him working out in the gym, along with a caption that read “Some say bench warming, I say bench pressing!”

It’s unclear when Mignolet will get his next chance in the Premier League. Karius has not looked too solid so far, but it’s unlikely that he will be dropped for this weekend’s game with West Brom.
Mignolet will presumably play in the League Cup against Spurs, and there will be scrutiny on both keepers in both games. An error for either could cost them dear.
