Liverpool’s special, expensive plan to get Coutinho & Firmino back for Everton

Liverpool are yet again shelling out serious cash to get Coutinho and Roberto Firmino back from Brazil duty as quickly as possible, to maximise their chances of playing against Everton on Saturday…

We host our rivals at lunchtime this weekend, which is annoyingly timed considering two of our best players are scheduled to face Paraguay tomorrow evening.

Coutinho is certain to start on the right-wing, which he’s made his own for Brazil, while Firmino is facing a battle against a throat infection, having impressed himself versus Uruguay last time out…

The club is hiring a private jet that will leave as close to the end of the Paraguay match as possible, reports the Guardian, but even then the long journey and the weekend’s early kick-off means it’ll be touch and go whether they’re fit to start.

Coutinho has been quiet recently, but excelled for his country last time out, which hopefully indicates he’s re-found some form.

Without scoring too many goals, Firmino has been a vital cog in our frontline during our recent improved performances and will hopefully overcome illness to start the Merseyside Derby too.
