In terms of attributes, Can’s got everything a top central midfielder needs. He’s mightily strong and powerful, but also possesses superb feet and technical ability.
He makes mistakes because his decision making isn’t the best and he seems to get over-excited on the ball, but at the Britannia, Can played sensibly in the middle of the 3-5-2.
Liverpool need to sort out his new contract soon. He’s the kind of player who could go on to do excellent things elsewhere.
