There was a worrying moment in the first-half between Liverpool and Everton tonight, when Mason Holgate accused Roberto Firmino of using the N-word to ref Bobby Madley.
Madley went and lodged the incident with the 4th official, which was incited by the Everton defender pushing Firmino over the barriers.
I think it's very clear what Holgate is saying to the ref here. Firmino racially abused him. pic.twitter.com/PZonS3hXbH

But having seen the replay close-up on multiple occasions, and having been tweeted by hundreds of Portuguese speakers, it’s in fact clear what Firmino says.
“CE TA LOUCO? CE TA LOUCO? FILHO DA PUTA,” which translates as: “Are you crazy? Are you crazy? Son of a bitch!”
The referee was literally standing there between the two, so if what Holgate said happened, he surely would have heard it.
If anything did happen, it was off camera.
Loooool watched enough Narcos to know what that means 😂 Firmino 👏 #LIVEVE pic.twitter.com/g1dp7I2ARg
