Agent gives Liverpool hope RE Leon Goretzka
The Germans are heavy favourites for Schalke’s 22-year-old, and have been in contact with his representatives over a free transfer in the summer.
But Jurgen Klopp is very keen, and according to the report, still has hope of clinching his signature.
Goretzka is improving on a weekly basis and is a starter for the national team, with the World Cup in Russia looming next summer.
Liverpool are likely to lose Emre Can on a free, and despite Naby Keita’s imminent arrival, we still need midfield enforcements.

Bayern have a habit of picking up the best German talent, and despite Klopp’s charm, we don’t think he’ll sign for Liverpool.
In the summer, we’ll need another midfielder, perhaps a holding one.
