You’d be pushed to find many more popular players over the past ten years at Liverpool than Bobby Firmino…
The Brazilian is an absolute character and a terrific footballer to boot.
This term, he’s plundered 17 goals in all competitions, more impressive because of the incredible work he does off the ball and the manner in which he creates chances for his opponents.
Against Manchester City on Sunday, he scored a beautiful goal and celebrated by launching his shirt off – earning him a booking in the process!

Unbelievably, it’s the tenth time he’s earned a yellow card for excessive celebration since 2013, making a habit of it while at Hoffenheim as well!
No other player in Europe has been booked this amount of times for the offence – not even close.
He saves the shirt removal for his very best goals though, so we haven’t got a problem with it.
In fact, it adds to his charm, although we’d be quite annoyed if he missed any games suspended as a result!
