Surely, the narrative that Liverpool need a 20-goal a season striker will now end!?
Today, Roberto Firmino scored his 20th in all competitions, with a lovely left-footed effort against Southampton at St. Mary’s.

The Brazilian is not only terrific off the ball in terms of his movement and work-rate, but increasingly effective in the opposition penalty area.
Not only did he score, but registered a superb assist for Mo Salah, too.
Behind the Egyptian, he’s our best player – and many will actually claim (perhaps fairly) that his overall contribution makes him more important than brilliant Salah.
Wow! Liverpool need a proper striker 😂😂😂

Quite like how everyone know fully agrees that Firmino is brilliant. Was a time when we actually had to explain why to fans of other teams.

‘Could never score 20 goals a season’ Firmino and ‘just another Cuadrado’ Salah are doing pretty well, here.

Liverpool need "a spearhead goalscorer who gets you 25 or 30 goals a season"
⚽️ Firmino – 20
⚽️ Salah – 29🤷🏼♂️ pic.twitter.com/4IGGkjHpWe
