In short, Alfie Radford spent his pocket money to help a food-bank in the city, and his dad Tom posted about it on Twitter.

Robertson saw the story and sent a personal letter to the youngster – thanking him for his contribution and gifting him a signed shirt from Roberto Firmino.

The reason he sent a Firmino top and not one of his own?
Robbo explains as much as in the second to last paragraph:
“Let’s be honest Alfie – no one wants a left-back’s shirt – which is why I got you Bobby’s instead. Hope that’s okay.”
Fantastic from Alfie in the first place, and fantastic from Robertson to reach out to him!
As if we needed any more reasons to love our Scottish left-back.
He’s been a complete revelation this season. And for just £8m? Brilliant!
