Hmm…
Nearly every respected French journalist is suggesting Liverpool have had contact with Nabil Fekir and many reckon a deal between the cubs has been reached, too – but his father disagrees.

French football expert Robin Bairner tweeted as much this morning:
Nabil Fekir to Liverpool reports "are false", according to the player's father. "He wants to play CL football with his formative club," he told @oetl. #LFC

At EOTK, we’ve had it on good authority that Fekir is a target and the club has agreed a price with Lyon.
However, the same source tells us that the player could still snub us, especially if Lyon qualify for the Champions League – as his father’s quotes seem to back up.
Last summer, we had the agreement of the players (Naby Keita, Virgil van Dijk), but couldn’t find a deal with their clubs (at the time), but this time around it seems the opposite may happen!
Convincing a player to join though is likely easier, especially if we’re proud European champions.
Despite the father’s comments, we’re still confident.
Here’s what we think:
So, after filtering through various sources, speaking to a very good authority from Lyon, but also hearing Fekir's father's denial- Here's what I think is happening: LFC & Lyon HAVE agreed a hefty price; Other clubs COULD still come in for him, Fekir HASN'T spoken to Klopp.

So.. the journalists saying a 'deal has been agreed' aren't wrong, and Fekir's father isn't wrong either. Unlike the deals last year, the key with this one os convincing the player – not his club.
