This is a lovely story!
Roberto Firmino has come from rags to riches, and we couldn’t be more delighted.
Like many Brazilian football stars, Bobby did not have a privileged childhood, but his talent earned him a move to Europe and he now makes £180k every week!

Friend of EOTK @BrazilStat today touched shared this touching tale of Firmino as a kid, highlighting quotes from his former teacher.
Touching stuff.#Firmino's teacher says he suffered a lot of poverty. One day he told her that there's no electricity at the house since days. She asked him about food, he said the refrigerator is empty. She adds:
"In class he always talked nonstop about football." pic.twitter.com/GU1lpQuFYx

Firmino is currently at the World Cup, but has been underused by Tite, who for some reason, picks Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus ahead of him.
Bobby had a much better season in 2017/18 individually, is in his prime and despite coming from the bench, has performed much more impressively in Russia.
We don’t expect him to start against Mexico, but are sure he’ll have a serious impact if El Selecao need him off the bench.
With Mo Salah and Sadio Mane exiting at the group stages, Firmino is the last of our attackers left!
