Gary Neville rightly lived up to his bet with Jamie Carragher on Monday Night football by wearing the Red of Liverpool.
The Sky Sports pundit had been reluctant to face the punishment for losing a light-hearted wager with his colleague, which was decided by a penalty shootout at the recent Premier League launch.
Neville himself was the one to propose that the loser from the spot would wear the shirt of their fiercest club rival, but has since threatened to backtrack on the arrangement.
Liverpool’s Xherdan Shaqiri recently got involved when he sent Neville a shirt bearing his name and number 23 in response to criticism from the ex-defender at the World Cup.
The former England man eventually agreed to wear the shirt on television – providing Carragher wore a Manchester United jersey as a consequence for a bet he lost years ago regarding Paulinho’s predicted goal tally in a season with Tottenham.
A bet is a bet! 🤝

Both stayed true to their parts of the deal and will now send the shirts to charity.
It capped off a night in which the pair had been on the same page with their high praise of Liverpool following a commanding and professional win over Palace.
Much to his dismay, Neville even admitted he believed the Reds would go close to challenging Manchester City for the league title this season.
Liverpool’s result at Selhurst Park meant successive victories to start the Premier League season for the first time in Jurgen Klopp’s tenure.
